      It was during when I was on the virtual reality environment project. I had to show the ropes to other engineers on how to integrate new machines to the “synthetic environment” without compromising the machine’s real-world capabilities. For example, a radar set up cannot know that the signals it is receiving is fake, otherwise we won’t be able to test it properly, but at a software level this distinction isn’t so clear cut – and we have to be very careful there!
