We use PC’s here but I have a Mac at home. I might say that real work is in your head, writing it down or using the computer for analysis is important but engineering at its core is about ideas and thinking.

I use PCs at home and work but I’m saving up to buy a Mac as I really want one!

I have a PC, an ipad and a linux box for work. I use the linux box most, but the windows machine is really useful for Microsoft office and some types of software.

The ipad I use mainly when I’m travelling because it’s so small and easier to carry around than a laptop.

You tend to collect a lot of tech in this industry. Sadly, I don’t own any of it 🙁

PCs here at work for our main development, but the software end up on embedded devices mostly. PCs at home running Linux. Macs in my opinion are better engineered, but the PC is far more customisable.
