      Linux.

It is a piece of code which makes up an important part of an operating system created by thousands and thousands of people, and they all share the rewards of the work that they all put in, and even more important is that it is free for us all to use, which means in developing countries (where they can’t afford expensive software) everyone can use computers and access the Internet.

What’s more, the Internet is almost run on Linux! Nearly all of the world’s biggest, best, and most powerful computers are running Linux! (Android phones run Linux too, so how cool is that?!)

A carbon fibre sculling boat is a nifty thing. Ultra light, ultra stiff and very fast through the water. A Filippe F7 is very nice.
