It used to be “hometime”! But now at work I think it has to be the morning after I’ve got all the emails out of the way, because it is when I start looking at the problems that I left alone the day before. Usually the morning is when I have a clearer mind, and I can think of solutions and what needs to be done, and it is great to see how things are improved instantly!

Coffee time. Although I have a coffee machine in my office so it’s often coffee time for me. I probably drink way too much coffee. Mmmm…coffee….Excuse me……

When I press send on an email that contains a report I’ve spent days writing. It’s also the worst as I wonder if I’ve missed any silly mistakes when I was proof reading the document.

Id say mornings is best. Coffee, awake, best time for thinking and making phone calls. I prefer to talk to people than send email.

Hi – I like the part where I can explain what I know. Sometimes this is to a recent graduate or colleague that might not have sone something before. Sometimes its to a reporter or TV person where I try to describe wat we do. The Shard has involved a lot of ‘explanation’ becasue its so high profile and people are interested in it.
