Indiana Jones! (But archaeology never appealed to me!)

Expanding on this, very few people had computers in their homes when I was a child, and my school only just got one computer. Yeah, just one computer for the entire place! So at that time I had no idea that I wanted to go into software.

Well it wasn’t Isambard Kingdom Brunel – if thats what you are getting at……….But it might have been a bloke called John Horsman who was the
engineer for Aston Martin, Ford GT40, Gulf Mirage etc in the 70’s. A brilliant engineer and racing team manager. He wrote a book called Racing in the Rain – excellent reading for an engineer………….

I’d say my parents – they taught me to work hard and encouraged me to do well at school.

If you had asked me that question at 18 though I would have said Frank Williams and Patrick Head who were the founders behind Williams F1 Team.
