  Hi Danny – I kind of got the job by accident. I was working for a contractor in tunnelling but I needed design experience. It so happened that I got a place with a structural engineering firm. It turned out that the work was really fun and actually paid better so I decided to stick at it. So perhaps the answer is that I was lucky to get an opportunity to find something that made me happy.
